Dr. Safeer attended University of Texas Pan American for her undergraduate education and received a Bachelor of Science in Biology with highest honors. She completed her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine, where she stayed to complete an internship in internal medicine. She went on to complete a three-year dermatology residency at St. Luke’s University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. 

Dr. Safeer spent her early years in Brooklyn, NY, where her father completed his residency training. After moving to South Texas as a young child, she decided to follow in his footsteps and become a physician.

In her free time, Dr. Safeer enjoys watercolor painting, traveling, and spending time with her husband and her cat, Boo. She is excited to be back in Houston and closer to family.
